The presentations gave an overview of the use of some general tools and methods (DASSAULT-AVIATION within the context of military aircraft, APSYS-EADS, in the sample chosen, within the context of civil engineering) and of more specific ones (SERIEM for testability), all of them enabling the designer to integrate the relative technologies within the total system. |

Therefore, players of the various skills involved interact far much deeply from their own points of views, not only during the design process - as unterstood since a long time - but on all the systems life cycle. |

Thus more complex interchange processes are needed. |

And actually offered, by DASSAULT-AVIATION, among others industrial architects or prime-contractors), a policy far much beyond the codification procedures as defined within MIL-STD, AECMA Specifications or ALP 14, all these procedures having to be seen today as the beginning of a seamless improving process towards lifecycle engineering. |
